A small open Source contribution for eCommerce in Kosovo

Open Source eCommerce Payment Gateway Solution for TEB Bank Kosovo.

Due to the pandemic, the demand for digitalization of businesses has been growing rapidly, and thus the demand on our end for eCommerce solutions has been growing as well. With clients and partners that we work within Europe and the US, the solutions as straight forward, as we used Stripe, PayPal, Klarna, Sofort, etc, however with local clients in Kosovo this becomes an interesting challenge.

Although there are solutions provided by local banks like Raiffeisen Bank, TEB, and ProCredit Bank, they often are time-consuming to implement. One solution has been already been made for Raiffeisen Bank and released to Github, which saves a lot of time during implementation. With that in mind, we worked on another solution, for TEB Bank, thus working on increasing the speed and efficiency to implement a gateway, and also maybe increase more digital businesses in the country.

The plugin has been published as open-source on Github, and others are encouraged to contribute. The implementation has been done through following the complete and official guidelines of the TEB Bank, although it's not an official plugin... yet!.
